Can You Take Vitamin B6 and Zinc Together?
Dose or timing may matter
The short answer
Zinc is required for the enzyme alkaline phosphatase, which converts pyridoxal phosphate (active B6) to pyridoxal for membrane transport. Zinc deficiency impairs B6 utilization; conversely, high B6 may increase zinc excretion.
How to arrange timing
Consider co-supplementing zinc and B6, especially if one is taken at high doses.

Important context
Whether supplements suit you together also depends on dose, product formulation, health conditions, and medication use. Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a chronic condition.
