Can You Take Lecithin and Phytosterols Together?
May affect absorption
The short answer
Lecithin (phosphatidylcholine) enhances cholesterol solubilization in bile and intestinal micelles, while Phytosterols compete with cholesterol for micelle incorporation. Lecithin may partially counteract phytosterol cholesterol-lowering effects by improving cholesterol solubility.
How to arrange timing
Separate Lecithin and Phytosterols by at least 2 hours if using phytosterols for cholesterol management, as lecithin may reduce their effectiveness.

Important context
Whether supplements suit you together also depends on dose, product formulation, health conditions, and medication use. Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a chronic condition.
