Can You Take Copper and Quercetin Together?
Dose or timing may matter
The short answer
Quercetin chelates copper ions through its catechol groups, forming quercetin-copper complexes. While this can have pro-oxidant effects, it may also reduce copper availability for essential cuproenzymes like ceruloplasmin and superoxide dismutase.
How to arrange timing
If taking both, separate them by at least 2 hours to minimize copper chelation.

Important context
Whether supplements suit you together also depends on dose, product formulation, health conditions, and medication use. Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a chronic condition.
