1. Overview

Synstax ("the App") is a supplement scheduling and conflict detection tool. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how the App handles your information.

2. Data We Collect

All your personal data stays on your device. We do not maintain user accounts or external databases. The following data is created and stored locally:

• Supplement list and intake history
• Schedule preferences and notification settings
• Diet and beverage logs
• Optional profile information (age range, gender, lifestyle habits) provided during onboarding

We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect device identifiers or any form of telemetry.

3. AI Analysis Feature

Synstax offers an optional AI-powered analysis feature (requires a Pro subscription). When you use this feature, the App sends a summary of your supplement schedule, diet logs, and detected conflicts to our server for processing. This data is:

• Anonymized — no personal identifiers (name, email, device ID) are included
• Not stored — processed in real time and discarded immediately after the response is generated
• Routed through our secure server — requests pass through our Cloudflare-hosted API proxy before reaching the AI model provider

Your optional profile data (age range, gender, habits) may be included as context to improve the relevance of AI suggestions. No data from the AI feature is retained, logged, or used for training purposes.

4. Camera & Photo Library

The App requests camera and photo library access solely for the supplement label scanning feature. Photos are processed on your device and through our secure server for AI-based text extraction. No images are stored beyond the scanning session.

5. Purchases

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Synstax does not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Purchase records are managed by Apple and synced through your Apple account.

6. Third-Party Services

Synstax integrates the following external services:

• AI model providers (for the AI Analysis and Scanner features) — anonymized supplement data is sent through our secure API proxy. No personal data is shared with these providers.
• Apple StoreKit — for in-app purchase verification, handled by the operating system.

We do not integrate advertising networks, social media SDKs, or any other third-party services.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Delete individual supplements or intake records within the App at any time
• Uninstalling the App permanently removes all associated data from your device
• No data to request deletion of from any server, because no data leaves your device

8. Children's Privacy

Synstax does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is rated 4+ and does not require any personal information to function.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
