Can You Take Potassium and Yashtimadhu Together?
Dose or timing may matter
The short answer
Yashtimadhu (licorice) contains glycyrrhizin, which can cause potassium depletion through mineralocorticoid-like effects. This may counteract potassium supplementation.
How to arrange timing
Monitor potassium levels when using Yashtimadhu with potassium supplements. Avoid long-term use of high-dose licorice.

Important context
Whether supplements suit you together also depends on dose, product formulation, health conditions, and medication use. Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a chronic condition.
