Can You Take Postnatal Vitamin and Vitamin A Together?
Dose or timing may matter
The short answer
Postnatal vitamins contain vitamin A (often as retinyl palmitate or beta-carotene). Additional vitamin A supplementation during breastfeeding may lead to excessive intake, which can be transferred to the infant through breast milk.
How to arrange timing
Do not take additional vitamin A supplements alongside a postnatal vitamin unless directed by a healthcare provider.

Important context
Whether supplements suit you together also depends on dose, product formulation, health conditions, and medication use. Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a chronic condition.
