Can You Take Fish Oil (Omega-3) and Inonotus Obliquus Together?

Dose or timing may matter

The short answer

Inonotus obliquus contains betulinic acid derivatives and melanin complexes with antiplatelet activity. Fish oil (omega-3) also inhibits platelet aggregation. Combined use may increase bleeding risk through additive mechanisms.

How to arrange timing

Monitor for signs of easy bruising or prolonged bleeding when combining Inonotus obliquus with fish oil. Discontinue both before surgical procedures.

Important context

Whether supplements suit you together also depends on dose, product formulation, health conditions, and medication use. Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a chronic condition.
