Can You Take Coenzyme A and Vitamin B5 Together?

May affect absorption

The short answer

Coenzyme A is synthesized from pantothenic acid (vitamin B5). Supplementing both simultaneously provides redundant precursor loading, and high doses may compete for the pantothenate kinase pathway, the rate-limiting step in CoA biosynthesis.

How to arrange timing

Choose one or the other at high doses. Standard doses of both are generally fine.

Important context

Whether supplements suit you together also depends on dose, product formulation, health conditions, and medication use. Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a chronic condition.
