Can You Take Calcium and Cissus Quadrangularis Together?

May affect absorption

The short answer

Cissus quadrangularis promotes calcium deposition and bone mineralization. While generally synergistic for bone health, excessive combined intake may theoretically increase risk of hypercalcemia in susceptible individuals.

How to arrange timing

Generally beneficial when combined, but do not exceed recommended calcium doses. Monitor if taking high-dose calcium supplements.

Important context

Whether supplements suit you together also depends on dose, product formulation, health conditions, and medication use. Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a chronic condition.
