Does Grapefruit Affect Boswellia?
Amount or timing may matter
The short answer
Boswellic acids are CYP3A4 substrates. Grapefruit may increase their blood levels and potentiate anti-inflammatory but also GI side effects.
How to arrange timing
Separate boswellia from grapefruit by at least 4 hours.
